Kintsugi
In this casual take on the Japanese Kintsugi technique, you'll not only learn how to repair and highlight cracks in pottery, but you will also have the chance to get creative by adorning your bowl. This beautiful technique is about embracing imperfections, just like traditional Kintsugi, but with a fun, personal flair. You’ll use gold or silver to make the cracks shine, and then decorate the bowls with unique designs.
You’ll have a ton of cool things to choose from to decorate your bowls! Think glass beads, old costume jewelry, natural goodies like shells, feathers, and smooth river rocks, plus fabrics, vintage buttons, sparkly sequins, little mirror pieces, metal washers, old coins, fun wire shapes, vintage postcards, cinnamon sticks, and even aluminum foil. There’s something for every vibe! All materials are provided, if you have something special you would like to include, please feel free to bring it.
Fiber Art
Welcome to our introduction to felting class! In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the basics of needle felting as you create a beautiful, spring-inspired floral image or mushrooms. Deborah will guide you through the process, teaching you how to transform wool fibers into a work of art. Ages 10 to adult. No prior felting experience is required—just bring your creativity and a love for spring! All materials are included
In this mosaic garden paver class it is all about getting creative by designing your own unique brick sized garden stone. In the class, you'll learn how to use materials like broken tiles, glass, glass jewels and beads, or stones to create beautiful patterns and designs on concrete pavers. It's a fun, hands-on project where you can express your personal style while making something both decorative and functional for your garden. You'll leave with your very own custom-made paver to add a little extra charm to your yard! All materials provided, feel free to bring any item you would like to include.
In Sanskrit, mandala means “circle”—a sacred circle embodying a container for the essence within. Monks often use mandalas as a meditation practice for healing and compassion. The repetition of patterns, colors, and shapes invites the practice of pure presence … nothing to do but stay in the moment, in the flow. We will work with mandalas as a playful, creative, and inspiring way to practice self-discovery and mindfulness. All materials are provided.

Pink Full Moon
Saturday, April 12th
5:00-7:00p
$45
Join me for an introspective evening in making art from what moves you. Using the moon as our inspiration, we will use tarot and oracle decks to pull a card to use as a prompt. Spending a few minutes in reflection on our cards, we will then spend the evening in open discussion and art making in theme with the moon.
Bring a sketchbook/journal to record your personal card and thoughts that come from its message.
This April’s moon is a micro moon- meaning it is farthest from the earth in its orbit. It is traditionally known as the pink moon, to signify the time of early flower blooms as we enter the Spring!
Let’s tend to those small, but mighty parts of ourselves, as we prepare for our blooming season.

Use the prompt I share as a starting point to work in your personal books, or just come hang out and do your own thing. We will have paint, markers, pencils, oil pastels available- or bring your own favorite supplies.
This is a space for fostering community through our personal art practice- let’s make friends and have fun together!
