Join us for a creative exploration designed for artists of all ages and skill levels. A Journey Through Art is more than a class—it’s a space to connect, create, and grow together as a community. Whether you're coming solo or sharing the experience with your child, each week offers the chance to discover a new artistic medium. From felting and printmaking to mixed media and sculpture, we’ll dive into hands-on projects that encourage personal expression and playful experimentation. This is a wonderful opportunity to try something new and make meaningful memories together. Weekly Themes & Projects ​July 7, The Art of Felting Learn the tactile, meditative art of needle felting. Using wool roving, foam pads, and felting needles, you'll create vibrant felted compositions with step-by-step guidance. Bring your felting supplies, or a $5 fee can be made to Kate directly. July 14, The Art of Oil Pastels Explore bold color and texture as you create original works using layering, blending, and other oil pastel techniques. All materials included, or feel free to bring your own pastels. July 21, The Art of Mixed-Media Collage Combine paper, paint, fabric, and more to build layered, expressive collages that reflect your unique artistic voice. All materials included. July 28, The Art of Gelli Printmaking Experience the playful process of monoprinting with gelli plates. We’ll experiment with textures, layering, and color to create stunning one-of-a-kind prints. All materials included. August 4, The Art of 3-D Sculpting Build imaginative three-dimensional creations using materials like wire, clay, and paper. You'll be amazed at what you can bring to life! A $5 material fee can be made to Kate directly. August 11, The Art of Paper Weaving Transform your own watercolor paintings into intricate woven artworks, blending color, texture, and pattern into something truly special. All materials included.
